Sulfur Impregnated Activated Carbon for Mercury Removal

Sulfur impregnated activated carbon is a highly efficient adsorbent specifically designed for mercury (Hg) removal in industrial applications. By loading sulfur compounds onto the porous structure of activated carbon, its chemical affinity toward mercury is significantly enhanced, enabling stable fixation through the formation of mercury sulfide (HgS), mercury chloride (HgCl₂), and mercury oxide (HgO).
